the ASC - trophies and awards
Superkarting in South Australia is run by the Adelaide Superkart Club Inc. which is affiliated with Motorsport Australia ( MA ) and is conducted in a strictly controlled environment. The club was formed in 1971 as the Adelaide Kart Club. It was borne from members of the GoKart Club of South Australia in order to promote gokart racing on long motor racing circuits. The club's home track is Mallala Motorsport Park, 55 kms north of Adelaide. Mallala is a 2.7km flat track with a variety of turns and straights that make it the ideal racing venue for Superkarts. Superkarting is probably as close as you will ever get to experiencing the feel of Formula One motor racing. The Adelaide Superkart Club provides entry level, affordable motorsport for its members, who range in age from 12-70 and is combined with a friendly club environment. Superkarts can cost as little as $5000 for a used 125cc Rotax Non Gearbox kart (or new approx $12,500), through to the mid range 125cc Gearbox karts ($5,000-$25,000), right up to the sensational 250cc International Gearbox karts which range in price from $10,000 to $40,000.Superkarts race on all major motor racing circuits across Australia, including Mallala, The Bend, Mac Namara Park, Phillip Island, Eastern Creek, Winton, Calder, Wakefield Park, Morgan Park, Broadford and Queensland Raceway...Whichever way that you look at it, Superkarting can provide the "Ultimate Motor Racing Thrill" at the most affordable price.__________________________
